To say we’ve had some rain is an understatement!!!! It’s been pouring since Sunday night and in two days we’ve had a total of 161.75mm bringing our total to 418mm for the season. The swimming pool is still overflowing as the, now softly falling, rain continuesl. At 4.00pm yesterday Graham Benfield called in to say that the Sedumoni had come down and , today, I took a walk to the camp units, that overlook the Olifants River, and it’s pumping and has widened considerably. Whilst Joe was out yesterday, checking on the state of the roads, he came across a kudu cow who must have just given birth as the little calf was still very wobbly on its legs.
