Dawn broke this morning with the distant sound of lion roaring in the direction of the floodplains. Thankfully the minimum temperature was not too cold this morning and the daytime temperature reached a heavenly 25 degrees yesterday, which is just perfect if you’re outside. Thankfully the water crisis from 2 tanks is almost back to normal, although Joe mentioned that it’s pretty much the old system that’s working again so it’s back to the drawing board again! The porcupines are wreaking havoc here in the office gardens where every morning we find more plants having been dug out of the ground. These pesky creatures are digging their way under the lath fence on the north east side of the office and are obviously exiting through the same way as these are the only places we’ve found.
