News Snippet 28 August 2012

We’re still in a state of shock over the happenings this past weekend and I do apologise for not having added updated news for a few days, but quite frankly there is so little to report back. Horrid overcast weather descended yesterday covering us with a blanket of heavy grey clouds which has continued today. As a result even the animals are in hiding and we’ve not even heard lion roaring! I have noticed the Steculia rogersii (Common Star Chestnut) trees are bursting into flower, where they sit tightly bunched against the beautifully patterned bark of the braches. I think that elephant are probably the only recurring sighting over the past few days – just wish the sun would break through and give life to the animals again.
