Another heavily overcast grey morning greeted us this morning – one that I hope will let the sun shine through later on. Bill and Kelly, from unit 12, last evening called in a male lion walking on Instant Alley near our house. They’d been following him all the way from White Cliffs as he ambled at a leisurely pace. Unfortunately he turned off into the bush above our house before we were able to see him. On our way home from there we also came across 4 bull elephants at Dead Lead junction with Camp road, who had been at our house during the late afternoon. Once again they had been to 2 tanks and pulled pipes, which had Joe cursing. It appears these things always seem to happen at night which really makes it difficult to repair in the dark!
