What a scorcher yesterday turned out to be with the temperature reaching 39 degrees, and we’re aren’t near Summer yet!! The trees are looking great – well, those that at least the ele’s have left alone -and are now covered in blankets of leaves. Talking of ele’s, it’s that time of the year when, despite there being lots to eat, they’re pushing over what looks like every second or third tree in their path keeping our staff very busy with the membes calling in to tell us of yet another tree blocking a road. Jason, from unit A9, told us that he’d found lion spoor of a male, female and cubs along Deadlead Drive yesterday morning. Perhaps these are the cubs that Joe saw during the game count?
